Enjoy the little things in life,
for one day you will look back and
realize they were the big things.

I thought that quote was just right for this image. The photos we took at Aunt Rosie’s farm sure have provided tons of inspiration for my layouts lately. I’m not totally sold on the placement of the title so if you have any suggestions please share.

Today is our 5 year anniversary. Happy Anniversary It still feels like yesterday we were talking about getting married. We knew 3 months after we started dating that we were going to be married one day.
Layout completed right after our wedding one of my first layouts ever!!!
We started dating 8 years ago in September. After all these years I still love him as much as I did the day we got married. What a wonderful man of God, husband and father! I am so blessed to get to spend the rest of my life with this man.
We are so thankful to have such a wonderful life, a wonderful marriage, and a wonderful little boy!!!!!!!! I love you honey…and happy anniversary!!!!!!!!
Okay guys...I'm loving this one it is TOTALLY out of my comfort zone ( I didn't use a quick click HAHA) But I'm really loving how this is turning out. On Saturday Elizabeth Weaver, shared with us GA Croppers a kit that she's yet to release and I just FELL IN LOVE with it. Especially how beautifully the bkgrnds worked together while playing with the blending modes. The Kit is called Runaway Dream look for it soon in the DSP Store!!!
I also used Lauren Bavin's Custom Chipboard Alpha Simple, and Irene's Rhinestone Doodles. I am on such a ROLL!!!
UPDATE: Runaway Dream is in the store NOW!! Check it out:

I still want to do a couple more pages 1 of the food (we catered a yummy meal from a friends restaurant), one of the little kiddo guests (there weren't many) then one of the singing happy birthday. The 1st birthday album will be 20 pages double sided! HAHAHA....with 300 pictures it ought to be big :)
It will be sooo nice to actually have a scrapbook complete! Then I need to move onto his 2nd birthday party YIKES! I need to catch up :). Jack already LOVES looking at all the pictures he'll see himself, point and say Jack-a-mo!

This is the invitation page the invite was a little booklet with photos of Jack throughout his first year narrated by a little poem noting his first year accomplishments. You can see below how it looks once the invite was attached.
These are pictures of the "completed" book. Still have a little bit left to do. As you can see some pages have a blank spot. Those were the "guestbook" pages that each guest wrote a sentiment and they could color/decorate the page anyway they wanted. I took their picture to put on the page. I need to get the pictures printed and stuck onto the pages. This picture also illustrates how I scrapped his birthday cards. I just used coordinating papers and xyron'd them onto the paper. I plan t add a bit more embellishment to the pages. I was thinking a big graphic arrow with the name of the person who signed the card. There are 7 pages of cards so far. I think I have a few more cards from his 1st birthday around the house some where.

Okay so I stink! I didn’t take any pictures of Adobe or anything on the trip just on the photo walk. So here you go a slide show of my photo walk pictures. I learned sooo much from DSP designer Kim Liddiard and am so thankful for her help. I did forget a bunch of stuff so I’ll have to ask for a refresher or look for a book but I’m way ahead of where I was. I will try and snag some pictures from other croppers and get them up here.
Well I have a few Adobe ATC’s left and you’re welcome to get one. I will mail it to you you just email me at elizabethlmccoy@gmail.com with your mailing address and you’ll have your very own limited edition Adobe atc from me!! These are very hot so act now, quantities are limited!!!
Here is a preview for you, the side with the calendar is the back and the front has my pictures on it.
It was an awesome experience and I soooo recommend it to EVERYONE!!!!!
Got to bed pretty late. But woke up pretty early still. I'm all packed and ready for our team breakfast this morning.

I got a shower, ironed my clothes, packet up all my electronics and am having a cup of coffee.
I think I might have missed out on some team activities last night...I am a little bummed about that but truly I needed my rest and I did get to get to know my roomie AmberK better so that was definitely cool!
The crop starts a 9 am as team members we are meeting at 8 am (I think...???) to eat bfast first then going to set up.
I will send pictures from the crop later.
An EXCITING day that's for sure!!!!!

We're traveling through palo alto right now lots of houses with beautiful gardens and flower beds all through the streets. Lots of the homes have gated courtyards out front. Very lush and pretty.

That is the too early time I had to wake up at this morning :). Had to get showered dressed and get the kiddo ready to goto grandma's house.
I was pretty much all packed last night execpt for contacts and my name tag for the photowalk.
Speaking of my name tag I had to finish it up this morning gluing on 2 things. I can't give too much away or show you a picture yet b/c there is a contest. I sure hope mine is impressive to the judges I put a lot of hard wor into it. I will post a picture after the photowalk.
We're on the way to dh's job where I will catch MARTA to the airport. I will have to get my breakfast at the airport.
Let me tell you alittle about the freakout I had last night. I had my packing list and was checking this off when I saw on the list Laptop & Charger .... WHAT CHARGER...ACK!!! I am using my work laptop and I bring it home every night but I don't really ever need the charger because it charges on the docking station when I go back to work. So there I was at 11 pm thinking I had to go all the way to the office but I did have my key it was given to a co-worker while I'm gone. I called my sister to see if I could try her charger and Praise God it did!!!! That so far has been my only freakout.
Well I'm almost to marta.
Hugs all!!!

I finally finished this layout from the pictures from 5 days ago. It almost took me that long to complete this layout. I've submitted it in the 2008 Scrappy Awards at DSP.
